On Saturday, August 8, the “41st Natori Summer Festival” will be held in the Yuriage district of Natori City, home to the Michinoku Coastal Trail Natori Trail Center. The event is being held to honor the memory of those who lost their lives in the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami and to express gratitude to those who supported the region’s recovery efforts.

In conjunction with the Summer Festival, large-scale traffic restrictions will be in effect from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the Yuriage district of Natori City, where the Natori Trail Center is located. Please note that general vehicle traffic will not be permitted.
In addition, the area will be very crowded with festival visitors, so please exercise extreme caution when walking or hiking.
Shuttle buses (for a fee) will operate from nearby stations and other locations as an alternative to the regular city buses (Natorin).

On that day, the Natori Trail Center parking lot will be available only to guests staying at the paid campground or visitors to the center starting in the afternoon.
