Our mission
The Certified NPO Michinoku Coastal Trail Association was established in August 2017 with the aim of contributing to regional revitalization and tourism promotion. We achieve this by maintaining, managing, and utilizing the “Michinoku Coastal Trail”—a long-distance trail that offers opportunities to experience a rich lifestyle through walking and to learn from the scars left by the disaster—in collaboration with four prefectures, twenty-nine municipalities, and private-sector organizations.
While we continue our efforts to secure operational funding—including through the use of grants—we still require additional financial support from a wide range of people. We look forward to your donations as we strive to fulfill our mission and realize our vision for the future. We sincerely ask for your cooperation and support.
How donations are used
We carefully and effectively use the donations we receive as we manage the Michinoku Coastal Trail for work including essential trail maintenance and to fund new MCT-related projects.
