Our mission

The Certified NPO Michinoku Coastal Trail Association was established in August 2017 with the aim of contributing to regional revitalization and tourism promotion by maintaining, managing, and utilizing the “Michinoku Coastal Trail”—a long-distance trail that offers the opportunity to experience a fulfilling lifestyle through walking and to learn from the scars of disaster—in collaboration with 29 municipalities across four prefectures and private organizations.
While we continue to strive to secure funding for our activities, including through grants, we still require additional support from the public. To fulfill our mission and realize the future we envision, we look forward to receiving your donations. We sincerely ask for your cooperation.

How donations are used

We carefully and effectively use the donations we receive as we manage the Michinoku Coastal Trail for work including essential trail maintenance and to fund new MCT-related projects.

To those in charge of a company’s social contribution efforts
