I was drawn to the Michinoku Coastal Trail, where I can experience the region’s diverse natural scenery and history while walking long distances, so I came to Tohoku.
I did a through-hike of the Michinoku Coastal Trail between October and December 2022.
My current challenge is figuring out how to use my own experiences to help the Michinoku Coastal Trail become a trail that is widely known and loved by many hikers and local residents.
