About the Running Event [SEA ALPS TRAIL JOURNEY] (Nov. 1)
On Sunday, November 1, 2026, the “SEA ALPS TRAIL JOURNEY” trail running race will be held in Fudai Village, Tanohata Village, and Iwaizumi Town in Iwate Prefecture.
The course overlaps with the Michinoku Coastal Trail. While the event rules call for consideration toward hikers—stating, “Please greet others when passing, and walk in narrow sections”—we ask that you be mindful of runners if you are walking this section on the day of the race.
