Notice: Rescue Drill at Kitayamazaki (Tanohata Village) & Temporary Trail Access Restriction
On Friday, September 4, a local fire department rescue drill will take place at Kitayamazaki in Tanohata Village.
Due to coordinated ground and helicopter training exercises, trail access will be temporarily restricted for about 10 minutes. Outside of this brief restriction, hikers have priority and the trail remains open during the drill. Please follow the instructions of local staff on site.
