The road closure on the Ryori Pass route, as described below, has been lifted.

Due to forest disaster restoration work and related activities, sections of the Michinoku Coastal Trail around Ryori Pass in Ofunato City are currently closed.

2. Important Notes
As shown in the attached map
There is no detour route on foot between Ryori Station and Rikuzentakasaki Station. Please use the Sanriku Railway.
Please note that if you use the Sanriku Railway on this section, it will still be recognized as having completed the entire route.

3. Periods Requiring Caution
Ryori Pass Route:From October 7, Reiwa 7 to August 27, Reiwa 8End
Ryorizaki Route:January 16, Reiwa 8 – January 31, Reiwa 8　 End
