About the MCT in general
Q13. What should I be mindful of during my hike?
Hiking the MCT means spending time in natural areas. Staying safe on your hike is your responsibility. Make sure to gather enough information and thoroughly plan your hike in advance.
Make sure to check the alerts page on the Michinoku Trail Club website first. This holds important safety information about detours, closures and more. Select the area you plan to hike using “choose area” drop-down to see info relevant to your trip.
