Q5. Where can I get the maps?

See the link below for a list of facilities selling the Hiking Map Books published by MCTA.

You can also buy the maps from farther away or abroad through the online shop.

There are 10 Hiking Map Books, with each book covering about 100 kilometers of the MCT route. Each book cost 1650 yen (tax included), while the full 10 map set costs 14,850 yen (tax included).

(The Ministry of the Environment formerly gave out free maps, but it has stopped distributing and updating these maps)
