We have published the trail route on Google Maps. You can use your smartphone’s GPS feature to check your current location and the route.
Please refer to Google Maps for explanations of each icon.

You can also download data in GPX format. Enjoy the trail while checking the route using your favorite app.

Notes

  1. The official map of the Michinoku Coastal Trail is the “Michinoku Coastal Trail Hiking Map Book” published by our organization. Please use the GPX data as a supplement to the official map.
  2. The map data was created by a GIS software called “Chizu Taro.” You might see map display errors depending on what map software or app you use to import this data.
  3. Due to detour routes, restoration work, storm surges, high tides, and other factors, the actual route may differ from the map data. Before setting out, be sure to check the official maps, the notices on our organization’s website, social media, and the latest information provided by our satellite facilities.
