Perfect for Beginners: A 2-Day, 1-Night Trip from Noda Village to Fudai Village Along National Route 45

Be sure to stock up on supplies at the starting point—Rikuchū-Noda Station on the Sanriku Railway (adjacent to Roadside Station Noda)—or at the shops along National Route 45 before setting out. The finish line is Shirai-Kaigan Station, a remote station, but if you have the stamina and time, and if river crossings are safe, we recommend extending your walk all the way to Fudai Station. *Please exercise caution during periods of high water.
