探訪!三陸浜街道と大地の営み三陸ジオパークを歩く旅【1泊2日】

Not only can you visit the Memorial Museum for the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami and the earthquake-damaged structures in Ofunato City, but you can also enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Goishi Coast—part of the Sanriku Revival National Park—where the rugged cliffs and bizarre rock formations harmonize with the tranquility of the pine forests. There are seasonal delights to enjoy year-round: from spring through summer, the flowers and plants along the Goishi Promenade are in full bloom; in autumn, there’s Pacific saury; in winter, oysters and early-harvested wakame seaweed; and scallops, which can be enjoyed all year round. Since access by public transportation involves many transfers and takes a long time, we recommend traveling by private car.
